Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: It is planned to collect patients with allergic fungal sinusitis and other types of type 2 chronic sinusitis who visited the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital from June 2015 to August 2026 and met the inclusion criteria. The age range of the subjects is from 12 to 70 years old (including 12 and 70 years old). Due to the controversy over the diagnostic criteria for AFRS, at least four of the main diagnostic criteria in the Bent&Kuhn criteria are required for AFRS patients. The main diagnostic criteria in the Bent&Kuhn criteria (1994): 1.Evidence of type I hypersensitivity (IgE mediated), IgE(>1000 IU/mL); 2.Nasal polyp osis ; 3.Characteristic computed tomography findings; 4.Eosinophilic mucus; 5.Positive fungal smear.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclude patients with concurrent other types of sinusitis. 2.When collecting specimens of nasal polyps or nasal secretions from patients with AFRS and other types of type 2 sinusitis, it is necessary to exclude those who have used antibiotics, nasal spray hormones, glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants and other drugs within the past 4 weeks. 3.Those with organic lesions of the nose. 4.Those with severe malignant tumors, blood diseases or immune system diseases. 5.Those with severe functional impairments of organs such as the heart, liver and kidneys. 6.Those with incomplete information.
