Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A retrospective cohort of 500 pregnant women with singleton pregnancies and confirmed gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) who delivered at our hospital between January 2021 and October 2022 was selected; all patient data were complete. According to the 2010 criteria of the International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG), all pregnant women underwent a universal screening with a 75-g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) between 24 and 28 weeks of gestation. GDM was diagnosed if at least one of the following three criteria was met: fasting plasma glucose >= 5.1 mmol/L, 1-hour post-load glucose >= 10.0 mmol/L, or 2-hour post-load glucose >= 8.5 mmol/L.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Under 18 years old or over 45 years old; 2. A history of concomitant coagulopathy and/or thromboembolic disease; 3. Anticoagulation therapy and/or antiplatelet drug therapy during pregnancy; 4. Multiple pregnancies; 5. Patients with abnormal lipid metabolism, diabetes, hypertension, or other conditions before pregnancy; 6. Patients with major organ diseases such as heart, liver, or kidney dysfunction; 7. Patients with immune system diseases.
