Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >= 18 years, disease duration <= 3 months; confirmed diagnosis of herpes zoster neuralgia (HZNP) with ineffective conservative treatment; receipt of short-term spinal cord stimulation (st-SCS) therapy (implantation cycle <= 3 weeks); completion of at least 1 year of postoperative follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Complicated with severe cardiopulmonary diseases, coagulation dysfunction, or mental illnesses; previous history of neurolysis or implantation of analgesic devices; loss of follow-up data exceeding 20%.
