Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) First hospital admission for treatment, meeting the diagnostic criteria for gastric cancer, and requiring radical surgery; (2) Age 18–80 years; (3) TNM stage I–III; (4) Voluntary participation and signed informed consent; (5) Ability to communicate effectively with the investigator and comply with all trial requirements.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with other concurrent malignancies; (2) Patients with a history of previous abdominal surgery; (3) Patients with severe preexisting organic diseases, metabolic disorders, or active infections; (4) Patients with intraoperatively detected metastases or those unable to undergo planned radical gastrectomy and converted to palliative care; (5) Patients with contraindications to parenteral nutrition support, such as drug allergies or unstable vital signs; (6) Preoperative use of immunomodulators or corticosteroids; (7) Patients with psychiatric disorders; (8) Patients with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency diseases; (9) Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, including chronic heart failure, angina, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias (e.g., atrial fibrillation), or uncontrolled hypertension; (10) Patients with severe hepatic or renal diseases, such as active hepatitis, cirrhosis, or uremia; (11) Patients with uncontrolled diabetes or diabetes-related complications; (12) Patients using thyroid medications or drugs affecting immune function; (13) Other conditions deemed by the investigator as unsuitable for study participation.
