18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged between 18 and 60 years; (2) Presenting with recurrent halitosis as the main complaint; (3) In good periodontal health; (4) Generally healthy, with no evidence of significant systemic diseases such as hepatic or renal insufficiency, pneumonia, or other known conditions that may affect exhaled gas composition, including Sjögren's syndrome, gastric ulcers, H. pylori infection, enteritis, asthma, tonsillitis, tonsil stones, severe sinusitis, etc. (5) Willing to participate in the experiment and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Individuals who have undergone periodontal treatment within the past year; (2) Those who have received local or systemic antibiotic therapy within the past 6 months; (3) Individuals who have used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs within the past 3 months; (4) Smokers or heavy alcohol consumers; (5) Pregnant or lactating individuals; (6) Those suffering from other conditions deemed by the investigator as potentially causing halitosis; (7) Individuals unable or unwilling to participate in this clinical study.
