65 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with gastrointestinal tumors aged >=65 years; 2. Undergoing surgical treatment; 3. ASA classification I-III; 4. No preoperative adjuvant therapy; 5. Willing to sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cachexia or weight loss of more than 10% of original body weight within the past three months; 2. Neuromuscular disorders; 3. History of other malignant tumors; 4. Severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, or concomitant neurological disorders or mental disorders; 5. Severe respiratory diseases, such as COPD or ARDS; 6. Inability to understand the Digital Rating Scale (NRS); 7. Patients with untreated or poorly controlled hypertension (arterial hypertension, resting systolic/diastolic blood pressure over 180/100 mmHg); 8. Study patients who voluntarily request to withdraw from the study for any reason during the study period.
