Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing cardiac valve surgery who require warfarin therapy (at least 3 months) were eligible for this study. Participants must be capable of completing follow-up via mobile phone or with assistance from family members, provide signed informed consent, and be aged between 18 and 80 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with mental illness or cognitive impairments unable to comply with the intervention, individuals planning to undergo unscheduled surgical procedures during the study period, participants with a history of severe gastrointestinal conditions, subjects with contraindications to warfarin therapy, and women planning or currently pregnant were excluded from this study.
