Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients requiring extraction of first or second premolars for orthodontic reasons. 2.Aged 18-22 years, regardless of gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Clinical examination and X-ray images indicate abnormal root development of the premolar and its adjacent teeth (one mesial and one distal), or the presence of significant caries, pulpitis, apical periodontitis, or periodontitis. 2.Patients with systemic diseases, infectious diseases, or those who are pregnant or lactating. 3.Individuals with mental or intellectual impairments.
