Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for sepsis according to the Third International Consensus Definitions for Sepsis and Septic Shock (Sepsis-3) and the Chinese Emergency Treatment Guidelines for Sepsis/Septic Shock (2018); 3. The patient or the patient’s family member agrees to participate in this study and has signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing surgical jejunal stoma surgery; 2.Patients who have undergone percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy or percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy; 3. Patients with severe gastrointestinal diseases, a history of gastrointestinal surgeries, and other severely impaired gastrointestinal functions; 4.Pregnant or lactating women; 5.Patients with burns or at the terminal stage of various diseases, such as malignant tumors, cancer, etc.
