Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Confirmed diagnosis of differentiated thyroid carcinoma with postoperative TSH-suppressive therapy for >=6 months after total thyroidectomy; 2. Non-thyroid cancer osteoporosis patients (control group) without prior malignancy-related surgery; 3. Age >=20 years, with normal cognitive function to comprehend study requirements, physically ambulatory, and committed to completing follow-up visits; 4. Voluntary participation with written informed consent obtained after full disclosure of study objectives and risks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ??1.Patients with diseases affecting bone metabolism?? were excluded, including type 1 diabetes mellitus, parathyroid disorders, and other endocrine/metabolic diseases such as renal disease, hypopituitarism, or Cushing’s syndrome.2.??Patients with systemic autoimmune diseases?? ??or neoplastic diseases?? were excluded.3.??Patients who had already initiated anti-osteoporotic medications?? were excluded.4.??Patients using medications that interfere with bone metabolism?? were excluded.5.??Pregnant or lactating women??, ??or women planning pregnancy?? during the study period, were excluded.6.Patients unwilling to comply with the study protocol?? or unable to complete follow-up assessments were excluded.
