Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18 and 65 years; 2.Diagnosis of chronic anal fissure (disease course > 6 weeks, accompanied by typical signs such as sentinel pile and hypertrophied anal papilla); 3.Failure of conservative treatment (for at least 4 weeks); 4.Underwent either the TM-PLIS or LIS procedure at our hospital between January 2022 and June 2025; 5.Availability of complete pre-operative and post-operative medical records.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with comorbid conditions such as perianal abscess, complex anal fistula, Crohn's disease, tuberculosis, or tumors; 2. Patients with a history of prior anorectal surgery; 3. Women who are pregnant or lactating; 4. Patients with concomitant neurological disorders or diabetic peripheral neuropathy; 5. Patients with missing key outcome data will be excluded; those with missing partial data may be handled using imputation methods.
