55 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Female aged 55–70 years; 2. Diagnosed with acute respiratory viral infection within the past month by PCR testing or clinical diagnosis, and currently in the symptom resolution phase; 3. Developed depressive symptoms and insomnia following infection, meeting the ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for non-organic insomnia, with a PHQ-9 score >=5 and an ISI score >=8; 4. Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score >=27, indicating essentially normal cognitive function; 5. No history of major neurological disorders, other serious somatic diseases, or psychiatric disorders in the family; 6. Not on long-term use of sedative-hypnotic drugs, antidepressants, or other medications with significant effects on the central nervous system, mood, or sleep; 7. No motor dysfunction, capable of independently participating in square dancing exercises.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from severe psychiatric disorders such as dementia, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder, or secondary insomnia/sleep disturbances caused by other somatic or psychiatric conditions; 2. History of alcohol dependence, misuse of antidepressants or anxiolytics, or continuous use of sedative-hypnotic drugs over the past two weeks with inability to discontinue; 3. Already have a regular exercise routine, engaging in moderate- or higher-intensity physical activity at least >=2 times per week; 4. Presence of balance disorder-related conditions (e.g., severe vertigo, ataxia) or having undergone major surgery within the past three months.
