Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) >= 18 years old; (2) Meeting the IDSA/ATS 2019 diagnostic criteria for severe pneumonia; (3) Endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation = 72 hours; (5) Informed consent signed by a legal representative.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Chest trauma or post-thoracic surgery; (2) Chronic respiratory failure requiring long-term home ventilation; (3) Acute cardiac dysfunction.
