65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 65–80 years; (2) Scheduled for elective cardiac valve replacement under cardiopulmonary bypass; (3) Provided written informed consent for study participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Concomitant neurologic disorders including cerebral infarction, Alzheimer’s disease, or other forms of dementia; (2) Severe visual or auditory impairment; (3) Antibiotic use within 7 days before surgery; (4) History of alcohol or drug abuse; (5) Subjects lacking decision-making capacity or with psychiatric illness or other vulnerable populations.
