Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged = 65 years; (2) Transferred to ICU for monitoring and management after surgery; (3) Elderly patients with postoperative hip fracture, where elderly hip fracture is defined as fracture occurring in patients aged 65 years or older, including femoral neck fracture, intertrochanteric fracture, or subtrochanteric fracture; (4) Postoperative myocardial injury (PMI) occurring within 48 hours after surgery. According to the 2022 ESC Guidelines for Cardiovascular Assessment and Management in Non-Cardiac Surgery Patients, the diagnostic criteria for PMI are defined as an increase in troponin level on the first postoperative day compared with the day of surgery, or on the second postoperative day compared with the first postoperative day, exceeding the upper limit of normal (ULN).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Having undergone surgery on major organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys within the past year;(2) Having other severe diseases that may affect the patient's survival; (3) Patients with other definite diseases causing elevated troponin, such as sepsis or pulmonary embolism; (4) Discontinuing treatment midway during hospitalization; (5) Incomplete clinical data.
