Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the RASS scoring system: 1. ICU inpatients, aged 18 years or older; 2. Undergoing sedative drug treatment (such as midazolam, propofol, dexmedetomidine); 3. Having complete and monitorable video data of the face and body. Inclusion criteria for the NRS scoring system: 1. ICU inpatients, aged 18 years or older; 2. Capable of simple command responses (such as shaking hands, blinking), with basic communication ability retained; 3. In postoperative or other suspected pain states (such as trauma, postoperative recovery period); 4. Having complete and monitorable video data of the face and body. Inclusion criteria for the CAM-ICU scoring system (for delirium detection): 1. ICU inpatients, aged 18 years or older; 2. Exhibiting agitation or confusion manifestations (satisfying any of the following): high agitation score (RASS > +1 or SAS > 5) with previous or existing CAM-ICU positive record; insufficient sedation (RASS 0 ~ +2) state; having risk factors for extubation (such as no protective restraint, history of mental illness, history of drug abuse, male, young, high BMI, having a precedent of autonomous removal of tubes); having complete and monitorable video data of the face and body. Inclusion criteria for the extubation risk assessment system: 1. ICU inpatients, aged 18 years or older; 2. Having at least one high-risk factor for extubation: high agitation score (RASS > +1, SAS > 5) with CAM-ICU positive; insufficient sedation (RASS 0 ~ +2) without protective restraint; history of mental illness or drug abuse; male, young ( 30 kg/m2); having precedent of removing gastric tubes/urinary catheters; having important tubes in place (such as tracheal intubation, central venous catheter, arterial catheter, gastric tube, urinary catheter, thoracic puncture tube, abdominal puncture drainage tube, etc.); having complete and monitorable video data of the face and body.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the RASS scoring system: 1. Individuals with severe facial deformity or significant facial injury that affects facial expression recognition; 2. Coma or brain death; 3. Those unable to give informed consent. Exclusion criteria for the NRS scoring system: 1. Consciousness disorders (such as coma, severe delirium) that prevent the ability to express pain; 2. Those affected by nerve block or deep analgesia intervention that interferes with pain assessment; 3. Those with limited facial expression activity (such as myasthenia gravis, facial nerve paralysis). Exclusion criteria for the CAM-ICU scoring system: 1. Deep coma (RASS -4 or -5); 2. Brain structural damage (such as extensive cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage) that causes non-delirious consciousness disorder; 3. Those unable to give informed consent. Exclusion criteria for the extubation risk assessment system: 1. No important tubes are in place; 2. Those unable to give informed consent; 3. Deep coma or deep sedation (RASS -4 or -5);
