Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.University dance majors and professional dancers aged 18-40 years. 2. Anterior knee pain scoring >=3 points on the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), persisting for at least 4 weeks. 3. Pain occurring during lower limb movements such as running, jumping, squatting, kneeling, and ascending or descending stairs. 4.Pain experienced during dance movements involving rotations, flips, or jumps, such as knee spins, front flips, grand jetés, etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Meniscal or other intra-articular injuries 2.Recurrent patellar subluxation or dislocation 3. History of knee surgery 4. Hypertension, diabetes, unexplained chest pain or cardiac conditions, dizziness during exercise, etc.
