Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elderly patients aged >=y60 years; 2.Elective gastrointestinal surgery; 3.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I-III; 4.Signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with preoperative dementia (MMSE score 300 × 10?/L).
