Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Patients with anterior tooth defects who meet the Type 2/4 bone defect according to the Terheyden classification and require staged Onlay bone grafting and implantation; (2)Adult patients aged 18 years or older; (3)No uncontrolled systemic diseases that are incompatible with implantation surgery; (4)No uncontrolled periodontal disease, and no obvious abnormalities in adjacent teeth; (5)No systemic diseases or local lesions that may affect bone formation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Heavy smoking (>10 cigarettes per day), alcohol abuse, etc.; (2)A 5-year history of radiotherapy in the head and neck region; (3)Uncontrolled, advanced, or aggressive periodontal disease; (4)Suffering from major systemic diseases, such as uncontrolled diabetes, blood, liver, or kidney diseases, or recent (within the past 6 months) myocardial infarction, etc.; (5)Long-term use history of drugs such as aspirin, warfarin, and bisphosphonates.
