Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=65 years; 2. ASA physical status II-III; 3. Cardiac function class I-II; 4. Body mass index (BMI) 18-30 kg/m^2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of neck surgery or trauma; 2. Abnormal preoperative carotid ultrasound findings (including plaques, stenosis, or anatomical variations); 3. History of cardiomyopathy or valvular heart disease; 4. Presence of arrhythmia; 5. Pulmonary hypertension; 6. Change in anesthetic or surgical approach; 7. Patient refusal.
