Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Aged =65 years. 2)Diagnosed with femoral neck fracture due to low-energy trauma (e.g., a fall), and it is the first incidence of hip fracture. 3)Have undergone hip fracture surgery (total hip arthroplasty or hemiarthroplasty) and are between 3 months and 1 year post-discharge. 4)Able to walk independently (may use walking aids, such as a cane or walker). 5)Native Chinese speaker, capable of understanding and completing the scale assessments (FRAIL Scale, Falls Efficacy Scale-International FES-I). 6)Voluntarily provides written informed consent, agrees to participate in the study, and commits to follow-up assessments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Inability to complete the frailty assessment (FRAIL Scale), fear of falling assessment (FES-I), or 6-meter walk test due to conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, severe dementia, or other neurological disorders. 2)Patients who have undergone or are scheduled for repeat hip fracture repair surgery. 3)Rehospitalization for the same hip fracture or related complications within one year after surgery. 4)Inability to complete the 6-meter usual walk test (e.g., due to severe cardiopulmonary disease, lower limb paralysis). 5)Inability to complete the handgrip strength test (e.g., due to severe arthritis of the hand, neuromuscular diseases). 6)Inability to cooperate with the assessments due to severe cognitive impairment or language barriers. 7)Presence of a terminal illness (e.g., advanced cancer, severe heart failure, end-stage renal disease).
