Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for patients: (1) Meet the diagnostic and classification criteria for stroke established by the 4th National Conference on Cerebrovascular Diseases; (2) Confirmed diagnosis by MRI or CT; (3) Stable vital signs, clear cognitive function, and ability to accurately receive and follow investigator instructions; (4) Disease duration between 1 week and 6 months, with gait impairment and a Functional Ambulation Category score >2. 2. Inclusion criteria for physical therapists (therapists not delivering intervention, providing only feedback for system development and validation): (1) Have previously managed gait rehabilitation cases in stroke patients; (2) Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for patients: (1) Other conditions significantly impairing gait, such as Parkinson’s disease, cerebellar disorders, vestibular system diseases, peripheral neuropathy, or musculoskeletal lesions; (2) Severe cognitive impairment, major depression, aphasia, or other conditions that hinder comprehension of instructions and prevent participation in assessment; (3) Coexisting severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, or hematological disorders; (4) Visual or auditory impairments resulting from stroke or other injuries that interfere with training or instruction comprehension. 2. Exclusion criteria for physical therapists: (1) Difficulty walking on a treadmill; (2) Previous adverse reactions to virtual reality technology.
