18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age >= 18 years; (2) Diagnosed with sepsis or septic shock within 24 hours; (3) Written informed consent provided.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with pre-existing septic myocardial injury upon admission; (2) Acute or subacute myocardial infarction; (3) Acute viral myocarditis; (4) History of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction; (5) Advanced malignant tumors; (6) Autoimmune diseases; (7) Neurodegenerative diseases; (8) Psychiatric disorders; (9) Pregnancy or lactation; (10) Patients who withdrew from the study or were lost to follow-up during the follow-up period.
