Experimental group:Half an hour after three meals, oral/nasogastric Clostridium butyricum viable bacteria powder (1g) was intervened three times a day
Control group:Treatment is carried out according to the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the 2018 Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Sepsis; 2. Age >=18 years; 3. Patients assessed by neuropsychology specialists within the research team as having neurocognitive dysfunction based on a combination of CAM-ICU, MMSE scores, and NSE (Neuron-Specific Enolase) values; 4. Participants provide informed consent for the intervention plan and follow-up schedule.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of neurocognitive dysfunction; 2. Patients with neurocognitive dysfunction caused by central organic lesions; 3. Patients with other diseases that clearly cause neurocognitive dysfunction; 4. Patients currently taking medications that may cause neurocognitive dysfunction; 5. Patients with psychiatric disorders who are unable to cooperate; 6. Patients with infectious shock; 7. Patients who have participated in other clinical trials within the past three months.
