Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 18 years; 2. Meets diagnostic criteria for impaired consciousness; 3. Family members willing to participate in the study and sign the relevant informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with unstable vital signs; 2. Those undergoing administration of anesthetic or sedative medications; 3. Individuals with a history of pacemaker or other implantable device placement; 4. Individuals with contraindications to transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS); 5. Individuals with contraindications to median nerve stimulation; 6. Individuals with frequent epileptic seizures; 7. Pregnant women; 8. Individuals with concomitant severe systemic diseases expected to impact assessment outcomes.
