Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Coronary heart disease group: Eighty volunteers aged 50 - 80 years old (gender not restricted) who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) due to coronary heart disease. Among them, 30 cases had no diabetes, and 30 cases had diabetes. Median sternotomy was performed under general anesthesia for off - pump CABG. 2. Coronary heart disease + coronary endarterectomy group: Forty volunteers aged 50 - 80 years old (gender not restricted) who underwent CABG due to coronary heart disease. Among them, 20 cases had no diabetes, and 20 cases had diabetes. Median sternotomy was performed under general anesthesia for off - pump CABG. For coronary arteries with severe calcification, coronary endarterectomy was performed first, followed by anastomosis of the bypass graft. Previously, the removed calcified plaques were discarded. Now, these plaques are placed in cryotubes, flash - frozen in liquid nitrogen, and then stored in a - 80°C freezer. 3. Valvular heart disease group: Sixty volunteers aged 50 - 80 years old (gender not restricted) who underwent valve replacement or annuloplasty due to valvular heart disease. Among them, 30 cases had diabetes, and 30 cases had no diabetes. Median sternotomy was performed under general anesthesia for off - pump valve replacement or annuloplasty. A small amount of right atrial appendage tissue was taken, placed in cryotubes, flash - frozen in liquid nitrogen, and then stored in a - 80°C freezer.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Second thoracotomy for cardiac surgery; 2. Presence of severe diseases such as renal failure and liver failure; 3. The patient refused.
