Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age >= 60 years; No regular physical exercise in the past year (defined as >= 3 sessions per week, >= 30 minutes per session, lasting >= 3 months); Fluent in Chinese, able to understand study instructions and complete assessments; No known contraindications to exercise, and physically capable of performing aerobic, resistance, and mind-body exercises; No severe psychiatric disorders, able to provide informed consent and comply with the study protocol; Voluntary participation with signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age < 60 years; Clinical diagnosis of dementia according to OCDAD, NINCDS-ADRDA, DSM-IV, or ICD-10 criteria; Presence of severe organic or cardiovascular diseases, or having received invasive treatments within the past 6 months; Severe psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, delirium) or severe neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy); Current use of psychotropic medications or anti-dementia drugs; Uncorrectable visual or auditory impairments that prevent completion of cognitive assessments; Any other conditions deemed unsuitable for exercise intervention by the research team.
