Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18 and 78 years, regardless of gender; 2. Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes with a history of less than 6 months; 3. Overweight or obese (BMI >= 25 kg/m^2); 4. Fasting blood glucose >=7.0 mmol/L (11.1 mmol/L), and HbA1C >= 6.5% (8.0%); 5. Currently receiving metformin monotherapy; 6. Informed consent and willingness to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The investigator deems the subject unsuitable for participation in the trial for any reason. 2. Suffering from cancer, infectious diseases, severe anemia, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, heart failure, stroke, autoimmune disease, etc. 3. Intolerance and/or food allergy related to the study product 4. Participating in or currently participating in a clinical trial within the past three months 5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women 6. Currently taking medications (e.g., insulin, anti-inflammatory drugs, etc.), antioxidants, vitamin supplements, or herbal therapeutic products that may interfere with the study.
