Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients can be contacted by telephone and will provide informed consent. 2. For tissue samples of alopecia areata (AA) lesions and adjacent normal tissues: Patients with AA confirmed by pathological diagnosis. 3. For scalp tissue samples of healthy individuals: Patients excluded from alopecia areata (AA) or any other hair disorders by pathological examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with incomplete medical records or missing key data. 2. Patients with comorbidities of other autoimmune diseases, tumors, or infectious scalp disorders. 3. Patients deemed unsuitable for participation in this study by the researchers.
