Intermittent fasting mode:Patients who meet the inclusion criteria are given intensive diet management of intermittent fasting mode: that is, five days per week are selected as non-fasting days, and a

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria 1. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes as outlined in the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2020 Edition) Diabetes symptoms plus any time blood glucose = 11.1 mmol/L Or accompanied by fasting plasma glucose (FPG) =7.0 mmol/L Or accompanied by 2-hour post-oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) glucose (2hPG) =11.1 mmol/L or HbA1c = 6.5% 2. Meets the 2000 World Health Organisation (WHO) diagnostic criteria for overweight and obesity (Chinese standards); Body Mass Index (BMI) classified as overweight (BMI 24.0–27.9 kg/m²) or obese (BMI = 28.0 kg/m²); 3. Adult patients aged 18 to 60 years; 4. Engaged in light physical labour over the past six months: primarily standing or minimal walking occupations such as shop sales, typing, teaching, etc., with relatively stable weight (weight fluctuation <4kg over the past three months); 5. Voluntarily participating in this study, fully informed of its content, and able to attend regular follow-up appointments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria (1) People who are currently using slimming drugs or patients who are using insulin; (2) Abnormal renal function: creatinine =1.5mg/dl or 133 u mol/l); (3) Abnormal liver function: ALT exceeds the upper limit of normal value by 2 times. (4) Patients with previous history of stroke or myocardial infarction; (5) Suffering from other serious diseases such as malignant tumor, mental disorder, anorexia, gastrointestinal diseases, etc.; (6) Pregnancy, preparation for pregnancy or parturient and lactating women;
