Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients met the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes mellitus. The diagnosis of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) was based on the 2017 Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, confirming the presence of kidney disease or diabetic nephropathy following the diagnosis of diabetes. Clinical symptoms and signs were consistent with DKD manifestations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have experienced severe diabetic complications within the past three months; pregnant or lactating patients; patients with concurrent severe infections, malignant tumors, acute heart failure, or acute stroke.
