Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 70 years or older; 2. Diagnosed as pre-frail or frail elderly; 3. Fried frailty phenotype score >=1 point; 4. Barthel Index score for activities of daily living >60; able to communicate and walk with or without personal/technical assistance; informed consent provided and able to actively participate in the assessments and intervention training of this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (aortic dissection aneurysm, moderate to severe aortic stenosis, acute myocardial infarction, or recent unstable angina, etc.); 2. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction; 3. Moderate to severe cognitive impairment, dementia, severe visual or hearing impairment, serious mental disorders, or other conditions affecting communication; 4. Fracture within the past 3 months; 5. Terminal stage of disease; 6. Participation in any other intervention trials.
