Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Patients with type 2 diabetes; 3. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclude specific liver diseases that can lead to fatty liver, such as alcoholic liver disease, genotype 3 hepatitis C virus infection, autoimmune hepatitis, and Wilson's disease; 2. Exclude special conditions that can cause fatty liver, including drugs (tamoxifen, amiodarone, valproate, methotrexate, glucocorticoids, etc.), total parenteral nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, ß-lipoprotein deficiency, lipodystrophic diabetes, and Mauriac syndrome; 3. Exclude acute and chronic kidney disease and renal failure; 4. Exclude patients who have undergone cholecystectomy.
