Velocity-based resistance training group :Velocity-based resistance training (VBT) group (experimental group): Training intensity was determined based on real-time speed (target velocity +/-0.03 m/s
the number of repetitions per set was not fixed, and the exercise was terminated when the movement speed decreased by 10%
using a GymAware speed sensor, 4 sets of back squats, Bulgarian split squats, and deadlifts were completed, with a 3-minute rest between sets.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Male participants aged between 18 and 26 years; 2.Minimum of 2 years of boxing-specific training experience; 3.No lower-limb injuries in the past six months; 4.Regular resistance training experience (2–4 sessions per week); 5.Currently engaged only in technical and tactical training (no additional physical conditioning); 6.Able to properly execute back squat, Bulgarian split-squat, and deadlift after pre-assessment and standardization; 7.Willing to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of major musculoskeletal injuries, particularly involving the lower limbs, within the past 6 months; 2.Diagnosed cardiovascular, neurological, or other serious systemic diseases; 3.Inability to commit to the full intervention and testing schedule; 4.Refusal to sign informed consent; 5.Concurrent participation in other clinical trials or structured training intervention programs.
