Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. No lateral chewing habits and symmetrical upper and lower dental arches; 2.Application of fixed orthodontic appliances; 3. The patient is of normal intelligence and conscious; 4. Permanent dentition with complete eruption of the second molar;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Taking commonly prescribed medications; 2.Dysfunctions such as temporomandibular disorder syndrome; 3. Patients with pulpitis or periodontitis; 4. Use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during the trial.
