Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18 years or older, regardless of gender; 2.Meeting the 2019 IDSA/ATS severe CAP criteria (fulfilling at least one major criterion or three or more minor criteria); 3.Completion of baseline immune testing within 24 hours of hospital admission (including at a minimum: lymphocyte subsets, IL-6, and CRP); 4.Administration of glucocorticoids: intravenous methylprednisolone at a dose of >=40 mg per day for at least 3 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, advanced malignancy, solid organ transplantation, pregnancy, or cognitive impairment; 2.History of long-term immunosuppressant use (>1 month); 3.Critical data missing, including absence of baseline immune parameters or 28-day follow-up data; 4.Having received glucocorticoid therapy within 72 hours prior to hospital admission.
