Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.DM patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Nephrology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University (Xinqiao Hospital) from July 2025 and diagnosed by renal biopsy; 2.All patients whose serum creatinine tests were conducted in our hospital and who maintained regular follow-ups during the treatment period; 3.Patients with complete clinical data and biological sample information, including medical history, physical examination, laboratory tests, imaging examinations and other relevant data; 4.All study participants were aged from 18 to 90 years old; 5.All study participants signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with concurrent various infections, those with acute kidney injury, post - transplantation patients, etc. 2.Patients themselves have factors that can activate serum complement, such as patients with chronic liver diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, and those in the active stage of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), etc. 3.Patients with a history of immune system disorders. 4.Patients with other conditions capable of leading to renal lesions.
