Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age: 18 to 75 years old, survival period: >=3 months. 2.Right hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) diagnosed by histopathology or dynamic enhanced CT/MRI (meeting LI-RADS category 5 criteria); 3.Patients with tumors located in the right hemihepatoma and classified as type I, Type II, or type IIIa according to CNLC staging, or as stage A or B according to BCLC staging. 4.Treatment history: Received from January 2010 to December 2020: Experimental group: Laparoscopic hepatectomy (LLR) for right liver HCC (including segments S5 to S8). Control group: Open hepatectomy (OLR) for right liver HCC (at the same anatomical site). 5.Preoperative liver function Child-Pugh grade A or B (total score =9 points); 6.Physical condition: ECOG score 0-2 points; 7.Complete baseline data: Complete baseline imaging (enhanced CT/MRI), laboratory tests (AFP, liver function, blood routine), and treatment records are available.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Mixed pathological types: The histopathology includes non-hepatocellular carcinoma components (such as cholangiocarcinoma, hepatic angiosarcoma, etc.); Metastatic liver cancer or primary malignant tumors outside the liver; Combined with other primary malignant tumors. 2.Treatment contraindications or history of conflicts: Child-Pugh grade C for liver function (total score >=10 points); ECOG score > 2 points; Previously received liver transplantation, radical surgery or liver radiotherapy; During the study period, ablation, targeted or immunotherapy was received simultaneously. 3.Missing key data: Incomplete records of survival status or treatment details; Baseline imaging data are unavailable.
