Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.A history of at least one significant ankle sprain, accompanied by one or more of the following symptoms lasting more than 24 hours: pain, swelling, or limited range of motion. 2.Aged between 18 and 25 years and currently enrolled as a university student. 3.The most recent significant ankle sprain occurred at least 12 months prior. 4. Experienced at least two episodes of "the ankle giving way" (defined as a transient loss of stability or control, resulting in a sensation of the ankle 'slipping', 'twisting', or 'rolling') within the past 6 months. 5.A score of less than 24 on the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with disorders of other lower extremity joints (e.g., knee osteoarthritis, hip joint problems). 2.Individuals with a history of fractures or relevant surgery in other joints. 3.Individuals with neurological disorders or other conditions that severely affect balance function. 4.Individuals who have undergone systematic ankle rehabilitation training within the past 6 months. 5.Individuals with the following systemic or major health conditions: heart disease, pregnancy, or other chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, rheumatic diseases).
