Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 65-80 years; ASA grade I-III; body mass index (BMI) 18-30 kg/m^2; no preoperative sleep disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications include: combination with other anesthesia methods; severe liver or kidney impairment; anemia or thrombocytopenia; serious heart, brain, lung, or kidney diseases; history of drug abuse and/or alcohol abuse; mental disorders that prevent participation in the trial; history of benzodiazepine allergy; and contraindicated for patients with myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, severe depressive states, or schizophrenia.
