Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for the Stroke Group: 1. Diagnosis of stroke in accordance with the 2019 Diagnostic Criteria for Major Cerebrovascular Diseases in China; 2. Age between 18 and 70 years; 3. Disease duration >6 months; 4. Right-handedness confirmed by the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory; 5. Native Mandarin speaker; 6. First-ever, unihemispheric stroke, confirmed by two experienced rehabilitation medicine physicians, with a lesion clearly visible on cranial CT or MRI in the left cerebral hemisphere; 7. Aphasia score <93.8 on the Western Aphasia Battery (Chinese version); 8. Written informed consent signed by the patient or their legally authorized representative. Inclusion Criteria for the Healthy Control Group: 1. Age between 18 and 70 years; 2. Native Mandarin speaker; 3. Right-handedness confirmed by the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory; 4. Good general health with no diagnosed neurological or psychiatric disorders; 5. No metallic implants or contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria for the Stroke Group: 1. Language impairment caused by post-stroke cognitive dysfunction; 2. Presence of other neurological or psychiatric disorders; 3. History of seizures; 4. History of cardiac pacemaker implantation; 5. Presence of metallic foreign bodies in the head or cranial bone defects; 6. History of claustrophobia; 7. Pregnancy; 8. Inability to complete the required assessments or interventions in this study. Exclusion Criteria for the Healthy Control Group: 1. History of seizures; 2. History of cardiac pacemaker implantation; 3. Claustrophobia; 4. Pregnancy; 5. Inability to complete the required assessments or procedures in this study.
