Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18-75 years; 2. 24-hour proteinuria >1g/24h and eGFR >30ml/min/1.73m^2; 3. Patients with active lupus nephritis confirmed by renal biopsy, classified as type III, IV, V, III+V, or IV+V according to the 2003 ISN/RPS classification.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Prior treatment with belimumab before enrollment; 2. History of severe or chronic infections before enrollment; 3. Major liver diseases before study inclusion (such as acute hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis), or abnormal liver function before inclusion (liver enzymes more than 3 times the normal value); 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women before study inclusion; 5. History of chronic dialysis or kidney transplantation; 6. Presence of malignant tumors.
