18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18–85 years; 2. Single-sided kidney or upper ureter stone with the longest diameter <=2 cm diagnosed by non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT) of the urinary system; 3. Mild to moderate hydronephrosis; 4. Negative urine culture.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe ureteral stenosis; 2. Duplicated kidney, duplicated ureter, and obstruction at the ureteropelvic junction; 3. Severe spinal deformity; 4. Coagulation disorders; 5. Positive urine bacterial culture; 6. Preoperative urine white blood cell count >500/µl; 7. Presence of severe cardiovascular or pulmonary disease; 8. Patients with impaired thermoregulation or recent use of drugs affecting body temperature.
