Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Acute Achilles tendon rupture 2. Aged 18-65 years 3. Presenting within 14 days of injury and scheduled for surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Open injury or previous history of Achilles tendon surgery 2. Comorbid lower limb fracture or neurovascular injury 3. Severe systemic disease (ASA classification = III) 4. Diabetes mellitus or peripheral neuropathy 5. BMI > 35 kg/m² 6. Coagulopathy (or Bleeding diathesis) 7. Inability to comply with rehabilitation protocols
