Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged >=18 years; 2.Diagnosed with traumatic proximal humeral fracture by imaging ; 3.Underwent either ORIF or shoulder arthroplasty; 4.Completed a minimum 3-month postoperative follow-up; 5.Provided informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pathological fracture or tumor-related fracture; 2. Combined with severe nerve injury or infection; 3. Presence of severe cognitive impairment or history of mental illness that may compromise the reliability of functional outcome scores; 4. Presence of any contraindication to MRI (e.g., cardiac pacemaker, claustrophobia); 5. Underwent conservative treatment without surgical intervention; 6. Missing key data with a rate exceeding 30%.
