Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Household screening stage: Selection criteria 1. Age >=60 years old, and long-term residence in the target community (>=6 months); 2.Be conscious, without severe hearing or language impairments, and be able to cooperate in completing basic health checks and questionnaires. Intervention research stage: Selection criteria 1.Male Hb<13g/dL, female Hb<12g/dL; 2.I or my legal guardian sign an oral or written preliminary consent form (oral consent is obtained during the household visit stage, and the informed consent form is officially signed at the community nutrition clinic later). 3.Be conscious, capable of completing basic communication through oral communication, written communication or assistance from family members, understand the purpose of screening and subsequent intervention, and be able to answer simple health questions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Household screening stage: Exclusion criteria 1. Suffering from cognitive impairment (such as Alzheimer's disease, etc.) or mental disorders, and unable to cooperate with basic screening; 2.Severe hearing/visual impairment without the assistance of family members to complete the questionnaire; 3.Long-term bedridden or having difficulty moving around, and being unable to visit the community clinic later; 4. Plans to move out of the community or be away for a long time within the next year, and thus unable to participate in the follow-up visits. Intervention research stage: 1.Those suffering from chronic kidney disease, chronic inflammatory diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis), and malignant tumors (which may be accompanied by chronic anemia); 2.Those who have a history of blood transfusion within the past 3 months, or are currently taking oral or intravenous iron supplements; 3.Those suffering from thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS); 4.Those with acute pneumonia, urinary tract infection and other diseases (CRP significantly elevated, ferritin may be pseudo-normal or elevated); 5.People with severe liver diseases or long-term heavy drinkers (abnormal liver function may lead to iron metabolism disorders)
