Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy individuals aged 10 to 19 years, regardless of gender; 2.No history of sleep disorders or insomnia. Participants must meet the following criteria: being able to fall asleep within 15 minutes on at least 5 nights per week, with nighttime wake-up time less than 15 minutes, and this condition has been stable over the past 6 months. This criterion ensures that participants are habitual good sleepers; 3.Baseline sleep diary assessment indicates good sleep (i.e., sleep latency [SL] = 15 minutes, wake after sleep onset [WASO] = 15 minutes, on at least 5 nights per week); 4.Willingness to participate in a two-year follow-up; 5.Ability to provide informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.A history of or current psychiatric disorder that meets any DSM-5 diagnostic criteria; 2.A history of epilepsy; 3.Severe and unstable medical conditions, such as clinically significant liver disease, thyroid disease, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, or heart failure, or any medical symptoms that the investigators deem exclusionary (e.g., unstable cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, or gastrointestinal diseases).
