Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized in the Department of Pediatrics/Children's Medical Center at Peking University First Hospital from January 2012 to June 2025, meeting the KDIGO diagnostic criteria for nephrotic syndrome, diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome; 2. Age at admission =24 hours; 4. At least one creatinine measurement was conducted from 90 days before admission to the first week of admission to obtain baseline creatinine levels; at least two creatinine measurements were conducted during hospitalization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. AKI present at the time of hospital admission; 2. Undergoing kidney transplantation, maintenance dialysis treatment, or stage 5 chronic kidney disease (renal failure); 3. Complicated by tumors, cancer, or hepatitis B; 4. Complicated by diabetic nephropathy or hypertensive nephropathy; 5. Nephrotic syndrome caused by secondary nephritis such as purpura nephritis, lupus nephritis, ANCA-associated vasculitis, and hereditary nephrotic syndromes.
