Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The study population consisted of patients with coronary artery disease who underwent non-cardiac surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University between January 2013 and December 2022; 2. Patients were divided into an event group and a non-event group based on the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) from the onset of anesthesia induction until hospital discharge; 3. All included patients had a preoperative American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification of III, IV, or V; 4. Anesthesia techniques included general anesthesia, intravenous anesthesia, or nerve block anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with incomplete data or unclear diagnosis; 2. Patients receiving local anesthesia or undergoing outpatient surgery; 3. Patients with an ASA classification exceeding Grade V (note: the highest ASA grade is V; there is no Grade VI).
