Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age range: 20-55 years; 2.Surgical indication: Patients undergoing unilateral/bilateral oophorectomy due to extra-ovarian pathologies (e.g., endometrial carcinoma, cervical cancer, or uterine sarcoma) with a history of regular menstrual cycles; 3.Exclusion of confounders: No prior hormone therapy, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy; 4.Tissue specifications: Collected ovarian tissue samples measuring approximately 0.8 × 0.8 × 0.8 cm^3; 5.Pathological validation: All samples were histologically confirmed as normal by at least two independent pathologists.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Prior interventions: History of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or hormone therapy before surgery; 2.Ovarian disorders: Diagnosis of ovarian-related diseases (e.g., polycystic ovary syndrome, ovarian cancer); 3.Systemic comorbidities: Active infectious diseases, chronic systemic diseases, psychiatric disorders, thyroid dysfunction, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM), or non-insulin-dependent diabetes (NIDDM); 4.Non-consent: Patients declining to provide informed consent.
